Our second night of lodging was in nearby
Nuria, a working farm called Mas Casanova. A room for
three with breakfast and dinner was about $20 each per day. The 350 year old
farm house opened dinner with a mixed salad featuring asparagus,
tomatoes
and olives.
HOW TO: European salad dressing: First salt the salad. Second drip on a quality olive oil. Third splash over a white wine vinegar such as the IL Duomo Italian brand 6% acidity. Most American vinegars are too harsh, buy European for better results. |
