Phaseolus spp., Leguminosae. Painted Lady Runner bean, great edible flower.  Scarlet runner bean (below) is all red.  Eat fresh on salads, with meat dishes.  Anywhere the taste of a bean will enhance the flavor.  Try them in bean salads and in potato salad.  Back to edible flowers.
