|Thirty four years friends. Dr. Roy Clumpner and I met
in Japan in 1967 while working for the Department of Defense. He
lives in Washington and I live in Michigan. We get together a couple
times a year. Typically, our reunions are with "old man
wilderness". This slide show is a sea kayak trip into Sechelt
and Salmon Inlets, August, 2001.
|Our Journey begins at Horseshoe Bay, just down the road from
North Vancouver on the Sea to Ski highway from Vancouver to Whistler and Blackcomb
In the summer, a two hour ferry wait is not uncommon. Bring a good book. Haute cuisine for the hungry is hot dog vendors.
