Thirty four years friends.  Dr. Roy Clumpner and I met in Japan in 1967 while working for the Department of Defense.  He lives in Washington and I live in Michigan.  We get together a couple times a year. Typically, our reunions are with "old man wilderness".   This slide show is a sea kayak trip into Sechelt and Salmon  Inlets, August, 2001.

Our Journey begins at Horseshoe Bay, just down the road from North Vancouver on the Sea to Ski highway from Vancouver to Whistler and Blackcomb mountains.

In the summer, a two hour ferry wait is not uncommon.  Bring a good book.  Haute cuisine for the hungry is hot dog vendors.
