Recipe: Mountain mint, Pycnanthemum
muticum, and lemon
balm, lemon thyme and peppermint make an excellent cold infusion.
Stuff a gallon jar full of the leaves and flowers of these plants in
roughly equal amounts. Cover with cold water. Squeeze
in the juice of one lime or lemon. Then let infuse overnight (at
least six hours). Mind blowing tea.
Rub mountain mint on skin as a repellent and to provide relief from insect bites and stings. |
