French Cottage kitchen in Guadeloupe.  What I particularly liked about this kitchen was the overhanging shutter (front) that could be dropped to close off kitchen from living area.  With the shutter closed the entire meal can be prepared and laid out in privacy, then up with the shutter and "come and get it."    (Belizean Traditional Jungle Kitchen)
