Juneberry, serviceberry, Amelanchier spp., produce prodigious crops of berries across North America.  Various species are trees or shrubs.  They have showy flowers, white, drooping with five petals.  Leaves are oval, toothed, teeth more prominent at end of leaf.  Fruit black.  Early April flowers and fruit all summer depending on longitude and latitude.  (More)
