Roots of the mature plant may be grated like horseradish. Harvest in fall or early spring. Pickle in vinegar, use like horseradish. Medicine: Folk practitioners used the juice of garlic mustard as an antiseptic wash. Crushed leaves rubbed on skin are warming (rubefacient). |
