Gas, Flatulence: Roasted fennel seeds, also carminative herbs: mints, epazote.

Genital Herpes: Echinacea, goldenseal, lemon balm, mountain laurel. Lysine supplementation may help prevent herpes.
Gingivitis: Bloodroot (extract included in toothpaste, mouthwash), chamomile tea (gargle), sage (tea, gargle), green tea.
Gout: Berberis vulgaris, celery, Sour Cherry Juice, colchicum, also DNH, licorice, turmeric, perilla.
Hair loss (Baldness): No known herbal formula that is fool proof. Phytosterols may play a role in keeping hair thick and luxurious. Perhaps plants like saw palmetto and licorice may help. Pioneers claimed a shampoo with Yucca root not only kills lice but may prevent baldness (unproven).

Headache: Cayenne, green Tea, bay, buckwheat, feverfew, ginger, Ginkgo biloba, Pulsatilla pratensis, Nux Vomica. Herbs with salicin (aspirin like compound) like willow, spirea, birch. Infusion of these salicin containing herbs provide a combination of compounds. I have found that a willow infusion actually can give me a headache, due to impurities. I use pure aspirin instead.
