The western Costa Verde of Spain
reminds me of Washington and Oregon. 
Its cool, lush, full of friendly people who
roast great fish in ample quantities. 
Luarco about 30 kilometers east on
N 632 from the junction N 640 at Ribadeo
has a great seaman's restaurant and hotel
on the waterfront...Stay there and order
the seafood platter...Awesome!

Above the village going east along the shoreline is  a hiking path that meanders over high cliffs revealing stunning sea views.  Take a three mile walk out and back before dinner. (Next)
