Blue-eyed grass, Sisyrinchium bellum Wats., Iridaceae.

six parted blue flower, yellow center, flowers at top of branching, flattish grass like stems,  to a 1.5 feet.  Basal grass like leaves.  Fruit is triangular capsule.

Medicine:  Root used to make tea, febrifuge, to reduce fevers, a survival tea used as only sustenance in survival situations.
