Buttercup, Ranunculus sp.  Family Ranuculaceae.  Poisonous.

A decoction of the whole plant may be used to spray apples and other fruit up to two weeks before harvest.

Simmer whole plant in water.  Ratio: One quart tightly packed (use gloves) buttercups to two quarts water.  Pour through a sieve, then a coffee filter.  Put in your garden sprayer and use.

Buttercup overruns our garden,  backyard garden nuisance.  Native Americans used the flower as a bear repellent.  We haven't seen a bear in our yard for over a hundred years.  Must work!    (LOVE CREEK)
