Buttercup, Ranunculus sp. Family Ranuculaceae. Poisonous. A decoction of the whole plant may be used to spray apples and other fruit up to two weeks before harvest. Simmer whole plant in water. Ratio: One quart tightly packed (use gloves) buttercups to two quarts water. Pour through a sieve, then a coffee filter. Put in your garden sprayer and use.
