Asiatic dayflower is a welcome volunteer in my "Five Minute" garden.

The spring shoots are numerous and a great addition to salads.  Young tender leaves or end leaves are edible.  Later in the summer we eat the blossoms, sepal, calyx seeds and ovaries for great nutrition.  (More)

Right: Pull shoots of Asiatic dayflowers from the garden and add to stir fry.  In the spring,  hundreds of shoots will pop up all over the garden.
